You read that right – UW have just been named as a Which? Recommended Provider for Energy Companies.
It’s a highly-coveted accolade only given to the best energy suppliers, who meet the highest standards while delivering excellent customer service.
So much so that only three energy suppliers were given the award this year.

With Octopus Energy in first place and 100Green in third, we came in hot on Octopus’ tentacles in a very close second place. With UW earning a customer score of 73% and an overall Which? assessment score of 73% too, our latter score was also 3% higher than Octopus.
As if that weren’t enough, UW scored full marks for overall customer service and accuracy of energy payments, with each sector earning five stars. And they scored four stars for everything else, including value for money, ease of contact and clear billing.
And all just weeks after UW were named the UK’s top energy supplier for customer service and complaints, by Citizen Advice.
